This Radio Dante Spanish podcast is about two great women of Argentine culture linked to the city of Mar del Plata: Victoria Ocampo and Alfonsina Storni. The first one (7 April 1890 – 27 January 1979) was an Argentine writer and intellectual. Jorge Luis Borges described her as La mujer más argentina (“The quintessential Argentine woman”). The second protagonist is Alfonsina Storni (29 May 1892 – 25 October 1938). She was an Argentine poet of the modernist period.
Sandra Doglio presents this show. She recorded this episode at La Dante in Mar De Plata in collaboration with La Dante in Cambridge. This project is aimed at spreading Spanish language and culture.
